Focused on YOUR Writing

For more than 20 years, I’ve been the go-to writing expert for family, friends, colleagues, and most recently a range of clients — from high school seniors to senior executives.

My love for writing started early. I excelled in language arts, won spelling bees and writing awards, and spent a decade studying Latin — the foundation of English grammar and vocabulary. Over time, I became a “word nerd” with a talent for analyzing, crafting, and improving any text

In my early roles as a paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice and later as a school guidance counselor, my coworkers and supervisors relied on my “eagle eye.” Whether it was a legal brief or a letter sent home to parents, I made their documents more clear, concise, and compelling.

Hearing “Can you work your magic on this?” or “Good catch!” again and again made me more confident — and gratified — that my revisions were making a difference. Soon I shifted my professional focus and decided to become a writing and editing consultant.

To gain more expertise, I earned a Certificate in Copyediting, Proofreading, and Fact-Checking from NYU, where I learned from seasoned editors in publishing and journalism. With this specialized credential, plus a Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, I pride myself not only on my writing and editing skills, but on my genuine desire to help others succeed.
